KICK-OFF UEFA EURO 2020 Volunteer Programme

Get started in the International Broadcast Center!

During UEFA EURO 2020, the Expo in Haarlemmermeer will act as the International Broadcast Center (IBC). The IBC forms the heart of all operational broadcast activities of UEFA and is an important pillar at the tournament. All TV signals from the twelve Host City, where a total of 51 games are played, will come together at the IBC and are broadcasted from the IBC to all UEFA broadcast partners.

In addition to all the volunteers in and around the stadium, roughly sixty volunteers will be working at the IBC. Unlike other volunteer roles, the first volunteers will already start in Haarlemmermeer at the beginning of May. In the IBC, volunteers will be working within the domains Accreditation, Broadcast Services, Host Broadcast Services and IT.

The IBC is an incredibly cool location for anyone with a media, journalism and IT background to work as a volunteer. The IBC will use with the latest technology to provide millions of viewers around the world with the customized broadcasting of UEFA EURO 2020. The IBC houses, among other things, technical, production and transmission facilities such as TV studios and production and director rooms.
